But you can join or renew anytime during the year. Cost is $25.00 per family (tax-deductible).

• Free or reduced fee admittance to events

• Access to an on-line discussion forum

• Receipt of a Resource List of providers (MD's, attorneys, therapists, churches etc) recommended by MAFA members

Why pay dues?

As with all successful organizations, managing such a large group requires planning and structure.  MAFA has a great volunteer Board of Directors who basically run the organization with no paid staff. But.....

Funding is necessary to pay for things like website maintenance, partial cost of activities, various fees,  maintaining a post office box, supplies, etc. 

In order to maintain the strength of MAFA and to not overburden a few, it makes sense to the Board to have the membership share in financially supporting the group.

Would you like to make an additional financial donation to MAFA? Thank-you! See payment instructions on this page. Also, The United Way allows individuals to designate MAFA as a recipient of your donation.  Ask your Human Resources Department for assistance in making this designation.
